Important Certificate Required to Become an Aircraft Engineer

 There are so many certificates issued by Civil Aviation Authority after attending/clearing exams in Ground Training School PIA, now called PIA Training Center. Attached certificate was issued to me in 1977 after attending a mandatory course “Technical Administration” and obtaining 80% marks.

Prior to getting above certificate, attended and cleared so many courses/exams right since I was a Mechanic (ii) at the time of joining Pakistan International Airlines. You cannot just jump in one day and become an Aircraft Engineer is our national policy set by our Civil Aviation Authority according to the rules and regulations of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Authority).

Every Pilot, First Officer (Co-Pilot), Aircraft Engineer and all the Cabin Crew Members must go through a set process under the control of CAA.
