A Training Course on Attitude Director
Indicator (ADI) of Airbus A-300 was arranged in Toulouse for me as Aircraft
Engineer and two Junior Officers of Instrument Shop PIA. Paris to Toulouse Easy
Jet airline took 1h 15m. Toulouse is the center of the European aerospace
industry, with the headquarters of Airbus, the SPOT satellite system, ATR and
the Aerospace Valley.

While staying in a 3 star hotel in Toulouse
I used to go for morning walk as usual using stairs from 4th. Floor.
One day there was a fire alarm in the hotel as I returned from morning walk.
Knowing that all the guests will utilize stairs in emergency as per procedure I
guided many as I was using stairs daily. Almost all the guests assembled in an
open compound of hotel except my colleagues. As the time passing with fire
alarm ON I became worried about till one of my colleague came over smoking a
cigarette and explained the cause of delayed arrival was search of his pack of
cigarette. The other colleague came over behind telling the cause of his search
of travelers cheques, he forgot after keeping highly safe.
Lesson of this trip is to keep myself
relaxed even in emergency as panic never resolves problems of our life
