Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet editor developed by Microsoft for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and iPadOS. It features calculation or computation capabilities, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming language called Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

Because
Excel is widely used, it has been attacked by hackers. While Excel is not
directly exposed to the Internet, if an attacker can get a victim to open a
file in Excel, and there is an appropriate security bug in Excel, then the
attacker can gain control of the victim's computer. UK's GCHQ has
a tool named TORNADO ALLEY with this purpose. Besides the Easter eggs, numerous
games have been created or recreated in Excel, such as Tetris, 2048, Scrabble, Yahtzee, Angry Birds, Pac-Man, Civilization, Monopoly, Battleship, Blackjack, Space Invaders, and others. In 2020, Excel became an esport with the advent of the Financial Modeling World Cup.
