US $ 100,000.00 Saved for PIA 1986

 

I accepted the challenge to design and fabricate all the test panels required in instrument Overhaul shop. With the help of just two assistants I designed and fabricated a total of 52 test panels saving a substantial amount of foreign exchange for PIA within three years.

Self-designing and fabrication of test equipment for various aircraft components used in autopilot system of all types of aircrafts was an extra job for me and my colleague who managed procurement of various electronic gadgets required for the test equipment. Both of us performed our normal duties and responsibilities as aircraft Engineer to timely and safely flying of all aircrafts as per their scheduled flights and procurement, designing and fabrication of newly inducted aircraft’s avionics components along with the new arrival of DC-10.

Total amount of foreign exchange saving 100,000.00 was audited by in-house Engineering Audit Department.
