A Technical Course on Sextant Avionique France 1993

Airbus A310 AFS - Automatic Flight System course was conducted in Blagnac France. Blagnac is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in southwestern France.

The city hosts the aviation museum Aeroscopia. It is the third-largest suburb of the city of Toulouse, although governed by a separate council, and is adjacent to it on the northwest side. It is a member of the Toulouse Métropole.

During the early 1990s, demand for the aircraft began to slacken; there were no new A310 passenger orders placed during the late 1990s, in part due to the introduction of the newer and more advanced Airbus A330 during this time. As a result, on June 15, 1998, the last delivery of an A310 (msn. 706, reg.UK-31003) was made to Uzbekistan Airways. During the course our class Instructor used to take us for lunch in company cafeteria where so many varieties of French dishes were available in buffet. I tried frog legs the very first day and loved them so much that I continued for whole month. Frog legs, or cuisses de grenouille as it is known in France, are a traditional dish particularly found in the region of the Dombes (département of Ain). Eaten for over a thousand years, they have been part of the national diet of France. Roughly 4,000 tons of frog legs are consumed every year in France.
