From Transistor to Automatic Test Bench

In the true sense my birth year is 1947 when a Transistor was invented. I couldn't have designed this Automatic Test Bench for testing Boeing-747 and Airbus A-300, A-310 Autopilot Computers for PIA during my 41 years of service without transistor and then it's developed shape of IC (Integrated Circuit).

A transistor is a semiconductor device used to amplify or switch electrical signals and power. The transistor is one of the basic building blocks of modern electronics. It is composed of semiconductor material, usually with at least three terminals for connection to an electronic circuit.

Though small, the invention revolutionised electronics and made it possible to make cheaper and smaller devices, such as radios and calculators and later personal computers and smartphones.

In 1947, the first transistor, now an essential part of making smaller electronic devices such as computers and phones, was demonstrated at Bell Laboratories.

In 1956, Brattain was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics "for their researches on semiconductors and their discovery of the transistor effect."
